These days, I am diligent to wear a neck patch every day for a few hours.

Be aware, though, of these differences…

I wear a neck patch during the day for a couple of hours—not at night.
You need to keep your neck clean before using the patch—no oil anywhere!
To hold it in place, I place a scarf on top of the patch or head band and fold it behind. This will let you move freely, unconcerned that the patch will detach.

I recommend this patch primarily for individuals over the age of 40. Younger is okay—if you wish. However, if you have no issues with your neck, you’ll find little motivation to wear the patch during the day. Night patches are different in that respect. Now I’ve got used to them, I can’t even fall asleep without them.
